Whether you are new to singing or already experienced, these 30-minute individual lessons will help you build vocal skills such as breathing, tone production, diction and phrasing. Through weekly training, you will begin to gain confidence and more consistency in your singing. Each singer will prepare one song for a virtual recital at the end of the term.
Open to singers in grades 4-12 with all levels of experience.

Meet the Instructor
Fred Meads holds several roles at Westrick Music Academy. He serves as Education Director and Conductor of two choirs in Princeton Girlchoir and Director of the Princeton Boychoir. Previously he was Director of Vocal Studies at the American Boychoir School for nine years.Mr. Meads received the Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Ithaca College, NY and the Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He completed his Kodály training at Capital University in Columbus, OH where he was a scholarship recipient. He was selected as a participant in master classes for Chorus America and the Toronto Children’s Chorus and was a recipient of the Excellence in Arts Award when living in Fort Wayne, IN.
Fred Meads is enjoying his twelfth year on the staff of Westrick Music Academy He first served as an accompanist for Semi-Tones.
