Eunbae Jeon

Eunbae Jeon is a dedicated music educator and conductor who holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Choral Conducting from Louisiana State University. Eunbae is thrilled to join the Westrick Music Academy Operations team as Choir Coordinator.

At LSU, Eunbae served as a Teaching Assistant, where he co-instructed an undergraduate course in Conducting and Literature and conducted LSU’s A Cappella Choir, Chorale, and Tiger Glee Club. As a passionate advocate for new music and living composers, he recorded newly composed choral music every year at the LSU Choral Symposium. In 2022, Dr. Jeon was honored with Conducting Fellowships from Yale Norfolk Chamber Music Festival and University of North Texas Choral Conducting Symposium. The following year, he was invited to participate in the Royal Northern College of Music Choral Conducting Masterclass in Manchester, U.K. In 2016, Eunbae directed the Yonsei University Glee Club and frequently collaborated with the Ewha Chorus. In 2017, he hosted the Harvard Glee Club in South Korea and led a joint concert. As a professional baritone, Eunbae performed with the Spoleto Festival USA Chorus-in-residence and the Philadelphia Symphony Choir, working with the Philadelphia Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic. Dr. Jeon holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Choral Conducting from Yonsei University and Westminster Choir College.
