Carolyn Sienicki

Communications Director

Carolyn is an experienced communications professional whose strength includes all aspects of visual communication — communications strategy development, brand building, creative conceptualizing, art direction, design, and production across various media. She has worked as an art and design director in multiple industries, such as educational publishing, interactive design, and consumer and pharmaceutical advertising. Organizations she has previously worked with through these past positions include Cline Davis & Mann, Houghton Mifflin Company, Columbia University, GretagMacbeth, AirTrain JFK & Newark (The Port Authority of NY & NJ), Boston Scientific, Johnson & Johnson, JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), Novo Nordisk, and Merck & Co. Carolyn has also contributed articles to design publications and has taught visual communication at The College of New Jersey. Her work writing about and teaching visual communication is an expression of her passion for education, as is her participation in the Lawrence Township Education Foundation as a Trustee. Her published articles in the design field have appeared in Communication Arts magazine, The AIGA Journal, Adobe Magazine, and three books by Allworth Press. Carolyn holds an MA from Syracuse University and a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design.
